Workshops are conducted prior to the event at either in community centres, schools or a central location.
Workshops cover the learning of the percussion parts, preparing the instruments & decoration/costuming for the parade.

Drum Out! is normally accompanied by BATACUDA who form the back bone of the percussion, however it can also function independently depending on the number of participants.

Drum Out! was first developed for the St.Kilda festival in 1994 & became the festivals biggest & most successful community theatre event to date, averaging around three thousand participants per year.

Drum Out has gone on adapting to create percussion events for community festivals / events, such as The Art is ... Festival in Horsham, Flying Fox Festival NT, Croydon Festival, Coolamon Festival, Lynbrook Shopping Centre launch, the Maryborough Technology Challenge, The Pako Festa (Geelong), The Dandenong Drum Festival, Wodongs Carnival to the Millennium Celebrations in the City of Townsville Qld, where approximately four thousand participants drummed in the new century.

Drum Out! was also at The launch of the Old Parliament House "Arts House" in Singapore.

Drum Out! was a major feature of the Melbourne Moomba Parade

Drum Out! is the perfect start to any community festival / event or launch of shopping centers etc.
